I almost gave a good review, but absolutley had to mention how the room was the size of a utility closet. Who wants a shower head like a misting hose? Awful. I expected atleast a room upgrade for our troubles, but I guess that’s too much to ask. Seems like standards are simply non-existent here.

This place suits me perfectly with amenities like free Wi-Fi, off-site parking, and non-smoking rooms. I still remember how the staff assisted me with sim cards on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a city break!

homey stay with plenty of charm
Staying at the inn felt like visiting a family home, which made my five-night stay very comfortable. I enjoyed that the staff checked in daily via text to offer local tips, making it feel personalized, yet they respected my privacy.
The decor was eclectic, which some may find charming, but it felt a bit mismatched at times.

Absolutely loved the family atmosphere at Driftwood Inn. The location is fantastic, just a block from Bishop's Beach, perfect for morning strolls. I stayed in the Inn European Style Room #2 and while it had a cozy charm, the size was a bit cramped for my family. The shower pressure felt more like a mist, which wasn’t ideal when trying to freshen up. However, I appreciated the nearby AJ's Steakhouse for great meals and friendly service. I also enjoyed the peaceful nights, even with some beach bonfires happening nearby. The staff were helpful and made me feel welcomed. Just a heads up, the room size can be limiting with a family of four with a pet. We had to shuffle around a bit. I'd consider larger accommodations next time. Overall, I look forward to returning for the views and vibe.
